I've tried malwarebytes anti malware, but it crashes on startup. it also appears to be infecting my other games from patching from other clients, with the same symptom of downloading at 0kb/s when my internet connection is fine. it will say 'downloading' but displaying 0kb/s. Next I noticed it on steam, I cant download or update any games through steam. with the message 'virus scan failed.' But it seems I can download internet files without any issue with internet explorer. it started with google chrome, whenever I try to download any file from the internet using chrome, it fails. I'm not sure how I managed to obtain the malware, but its become quite bothersome. I've started to notice over a long period of time my computer seems to not allow me to download or update files.
